Wakanda Forever
Marvel is deepening its imprint in the Disney Plus lineup by working on a Wakanda series for the platform.
The series will be lead by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler as part of his production deal with Disney.
“We look forward to learning, growing, and building a relationship with audiences all over the world through Disney platforms,” said Coogler about the collaboration.
This same spinoff idea was done in the comics and only lasted six issues before being canceled. Let’s hope that the TV adaptation fares better.
