Louisville based Texas Roadhouse founder, Kent Taylor passed away from an apparent “suicide.” Friends and family are shocked that he passed this way. Taylor recently had Covid and Tinnitus, and was recovering. He will be truly missed by family and friends around Kentuckiana and throughout the country. Taylor was a Louisville native, graduate of Ballard High School, and started the restaurant back in 1993. The restaurant chain has 630 locations in over 49 states. Just to show you his love for people and his generosity, he gave up his salary from March 2020-January 2021 to help assist the front line workers of the pandemic. A Louisville legend and a inspiration for those who knew him…R.I.P. Kent Taylor!
