Lil Wayne Set to Bring Another Mixtape to Streaming Services

Wheezy’s manager and Young Money President; Mack Maine had a little surprise brewing when he went into this latest interview with Billboard.

“Spoiler alert, we have [a mixtape] coming, probably in January.”

Mack went as far as to say that all the tracks have been cleared, which would seemingly be the biggest hurdle, because as we all know, Wayne loves his samples. Although Mack wouldn’t go so far as to name the upcoming tape, he would ensure that there are more mixtapes to follow.

“Shout-out to the fans. If we could, we’d put all of [the tapes] up in one month,” said Maine “It’s a tedious process. It’s not like a one-day thing. But we’re going to hopefully get all those mixtapes [up].”

No Ceilings was the first of Wheezy’s tapes to make it onto streaming services, although only 11 out of the 21 original tracks would be available, removing most if not all of the sampled material from the likes of Hov, Cudi, and 3 Deep.

Wayne released the compilation mixtape, Trust Fund Babies, with Rich The Kid last month, his latest single, “Ya Dig” was pushed back as to not interfere with his project with Rich.
