So Colin Kaepernick is supposed to attend a private workout with the NFL on Saturday (November 16) in Atlanta. Some feel like the last-minute even is a PR trap.

Questions surrounding the timing of the workout have been floating around since most NFL teams would be preparing for Sunday games, it’s not practical for coaches to travel to Atlanta the day before a big game.

Also, the NFL only gave Kaepernick two hours to accept the deal once they called him with the news of the arraigned workout. Finally, media was called prior to Colin getting the call asking them to be prepared for a “worthwhile news development.”

Bottom line, if Kaepernick accepts, which he did, he can no longer say the NFL didn’t give him a chance to work out since he’s become a free agent and if he had declined then unlike his Instagram suggests, he wasn’t “still ready” to work.
