The BBB also recommends avoiding business websites that pop up on Instagram or Facebook. Those links can not only send you to page with counterfeit goods but could easily steal your personal info, too.
If you’ve already purchased an item and it seems suspicious once you’ve received it, check the tags for proper product licensing and make sure the spelling is correct on the tags or even the product.
