- DJ Akademiks was on the Breakfast Club to address a couple of his recent hot takes.
- One of them was that the older hip hop artists are broke and dusty.
- Akademiks says his comments were taken out of context. He claims he was speaking on the larger issue of legendary rappers who refuse to pass their education down to the next generation.
- Then he had to tackle his other comment-about Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae.
- He indirectly called her the ‘b word’ and accused her of switching up when YFN Lucci went to jail.
- T.I. called him out for those comments-respectfully, of course.
- Ak says the two have a sit down scheduled for next week.
