Oh How Sweet

Oh How Sweet
The Louisville Cards are advancing to the Sweet 16 and the Louisville Women’s Basketball Team will also be making their appearance in the final championship rounds. The Cardiac Cards seem to live up to the name! The Cards seem to keep serving up a dish of defeat. The St. Louis Billikens also were served that savory dish. Revenge is a dish that’s best served cold and the Cards will certainly get their chance to serve the Kentucky Wildcats that icy dish at tomorrow nights game in Indianapolis at 9:45 p.m. You can tune in on CBS to see the age old rivalry in action. It’s not hard to notice who bleeds red and who bleeds blue in the state of Kentucky. Kentucky’s top performer in their win against undefeated Wichita St. was Julius Randle scoring 19 pts, 15 rebounds, and 1 block. Yes, I had something nice to say about the Cats. The top performer of last week’s game with St. Louis without a doubt was Luke Hancock scoring a total of 21 pts, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block in the game leaving a final score of 51-66. St Louis’s lead player was Dewayne Evans scoring a total of 16 pts, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals. So who’s going to win it all? According to the Sports Nation polls listed on ESPN out of 111,813 voters 53% believe that Louisville will take home the win.  26% of polls give honor to Michigan St. and only 17% believe Kentucky will take home the championship. We won’t know until tomorrow’s showdown so sit back, relax, grab some hot wings, and stay tuned for further updates right here on B96.5.
